Dressing for work during this heat wave can be a difficult task. When I think of work clothes I think of long pants and blazers which can turn in to an instant sauna and can be quite uncomfortable on those long work days. So I wanted to post some alternatives to the normal and most of the time boring office attire. Depending how formal your workplace is you can try wearing flat sandals that can be dressed up with a pencil skirt or shorts with a fancy top. Just be sure that the shorts aren't too short and the tops straps aren't too skinny, nothing worse than a dress code violation. If your work requires a more formal ensemble I would suggest purchasing a really light blazer that isn't too heavy and lots of dresses that can be worn with a comfortable heel.
